Any other mealy-mouthed affiliate Blather-Blogger would link to and tell you: You will die if you don't have the most expensive iPod possible. But I think the iPod shuffle is one of the best consumer products Apple's ever made. Why? Cuz unlike any other iPod, if you have any sort of active lifestyle it's the perfect product for on-the-go. It's downright CHEAP (especially if you buy a Clearance or Factory Refurbished iPod). It's a marvel of brilliant design engineering. It comes in COLORS - and don't underestimate the importance of Fashion and Style in the marketplace. Heck, you can drop drip a Shuffle and it'll still work (unlike many other 'pods). It costs so little you won't be heart-broken if it gets run over by a car. You don't have to buy a stupid case or armband for it; just clip it on and go. You don't have to LOOK AT IT to operate it properly! And perhaps its biggest selling point? - It turns out that in Real-World-Life - most folks actually don't want 5,000, 10,000 a Bazillion songs in their pocket. Most really want just a hundred or two of the songs they like the most. And that's exactly what the Shuffle delivers.
