Portable Bluetooth Thermal Printer For MacBook & iOS
Bluetooth is only supported from iOS. For MacOS printing you need to connect it via USB. The printer can run on battery power. It doesn't necessarily need an AC adaptor since its rechargeable via your MacBook's USB-C port, or a USB power/charger block.
It only prints in B&W on special chemical infused thermal paper. It has no ribbon or ink to replace, but you can't print on plain paper. Thermal paper can turn dark over time, or gray quickly when exposed to a hot environment or direct sun. It's not ideal for documents that need to be kept for many years. It's might be best to order the Phomemo Bluetooth mobile printer with A4 size thermal paper bundled Otherwise, must-have (200) sheet packs are about $30 - about 15 cents per page. For standard US 8.5" x 14" Legal size printing, Amazon offers a pack of 100 Brother thermal paper sheets, but I couldn't find Standard US thermal paper listed.
This printer is marketed for A4 International paper use. North American letter paper is 8.5 inches wide and 11 inches high. In contrast, international A4 paper runs slightly narrower and taller at 8.3 inches wide by 11.7 inches high. However the M08F is compatible with standard US Letter and Legal thermal paper sizes - if you can find them.
